There are no fees or prizes for this event. On stonewall in front of the library on Main Street

Public viewing of glowing Jack-O-Lanterns -
7:00 pm to 8:30 pm

All pumpkins must be removed by 9:00 that evening.


Residents are invited to bring carved pumpkins ready to be lit to the Shrewsbury Library between 5:30 and 6:30 pm. Candles will NOT be provided.

The Shrewsbury Garden Club sponsors the "Light the Spirit" Jack-O-Lantern Display.
SPIRIT OF SHREWSBURY FOOD FESTIVAL

Local restaurants will have samples of their fare.
No admission fee but you are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Worcester County Food Bank.
Beer and wine samples also available.

A hot air balloon will offer tethered rides, weather permitting. There will be a closest to the hole golf ball drop with 1000 numbered golf balls for a $1000 prize.
Tickets are $10 each or 6 for $50. Furthest from the hole wins $100.

The golf ball drop could occur anytime between 4 pm and 6:30 pm depending on the wind conditions.

Special recogntion of 90 year and older citizens including refreshments, certificates, and speakers.
Senior citizens over the age of 90 will have special seating to view the parade in front of the Town Hall.
