SENIOR CENTER OPEN HOUSE
Services include meals on wheels, transportation and activities such as yoga, pilates, painting, whist, knitting, writing and much more.

With over 100 exhibitors and thousands of visitors, the Oak Street Expo is a celebration of Shrewsbury's town, civic, educational, and religious organizations and its business community.

1830 BRICK SCHOOLHOUSE AND MUSEUM OPEN HOUSE

Ron Goodrich, an appraiser, will evaluate one item per person for free and make recommendations on collectibles such as paper stamps, coins, books, magazines, and post cards
Allyn Little, noted local artist, will be on hand to show some of his work. His historical prints will be for sale.
The Museum and Store will also be open.

ARTEMAS WARD 5th ANNUAL MUSEUM BARN OPEN HOUSE

Step inside the largest historic barn in New England and experience 18th and 19th century agricultural architecture. Find out how the barn got so big, who built it and why. Enjoy colonial hands-on activities and refreshments.

P.O.I.S.E. GOLF BALL DROP

Join us for the first hot air balloon to fly at the Spirit of Shrewsbury. Don't miss the chance to win $1000 and ride in the balloon. A maximum of 1000 balls will be sold - closest to the hole wins. Furthest ball gets a prize too.

Keri Vokes won the closest to the hole, Anne Welch won for furthest ball.

Thanks to East Coast Golf and Remax Executive for supplying the golf balls and balloon.

Approximately $6700 was raised for the SHS Speech and Debate team. We were grounded rather quickly due to wind, but the balloon raising was a lot of fun.

Helping Shriner's Hospital
  "LIGHT THE SPIRIT" JACK-O-LANTERN DISPLAY
The Garden Club sponsored the "Light the Spirit" Jack-O-Lantern Display.

Residents were invited to bring carved pumpkins ready to be lit to the Shrewsbury Library between 5:30 and 6:30 pm.
